QuickReckon

How we make this

QuickReckon is run by a small team. There are no invented experts or personas here: pages are signed by "the QuickReckon team" because that is who makes them.

Writing

Pages are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then checked before they are published. Each page explains the formula it uses in plain words and shows a worked example, so you can check the answer yourself.

Testing the math

Every calculator is tested automatically before it goes live. A second, separately written version of the same formula computes the expected answers for 8 to 10 test cases, including edge cases and invalid inputs. The page's own calculator must give the same answers, first in a test runner and then in a real web browser. If any answer differs, the page is not published.

Review

A separate review pass checks the facts and conventions on the page (for example which holiday rule or which loan formula is used), looks for wording that repeats other pages, and asks whether the page is genuinely useful. Pages that fail are fixed once or dropped.

Sources

Calculators use standard published formulas. When a page relies on public data (such as official holiday dates or government statistics), the page names that source.
